How far in advance do I need to order my wedding gown?
We recommend ordering your wedding dress at least 8 months in advance. This will help avoid the possibility of rush charges from the designer. We also sell dresses off the rack If your wedding is less than 6 months away let us know and we’ll work with you to get your dress to you in time.
What sizes do you carry?
Our sample gowns range in size from 2 to 28 with the majority of our sample gowns between size 10 and 14. Gowns are available for ordering from size 0 to size 30.
How much is the deposit to place my order?
We require a deposit of 50%. Please note ALL ORDERS ARE IRREVOCABLE. DEPOSIT NOT REFUNDABLE
When do I pay for the remaining balance?
Balance is due upon arrival of the dress.
What happens when my gown arrives?
You will be contacted by telephone to be notified of your gowns arrival. Balance needs to be paid and try your gown and make an appointment with one of our independent seamstresses for alterations.
Are the dresses made to measure, so made to my exact measurements?
The dresses are not made to measure but rather custom ordered. ; we can help you determine what would be a good size by measuring you then referring to the designer’s size chart.
Can my bridesmaids, mother or mother-in-law find a dress at Luz Bridal?
Yes. We have a large selection of bridesmaids dresses
Do I have to have my dress altered in House?
No, you are not required to have your gown altered at Luz Bridal. We do recommend using a qualified, experienced seamstress.
What should I bring to my fitting?
Please bring your shoes and any special undergarments (i.e. bustier, body shaper) that you plan to wear with your dress the day of, as this will affect the fit.
How do you take care of my gown?
We will steam the dress as soon as it arrives, put it in a garment bag and label it with your name, phone number and wear date. After alterations are done we will steam your dress again so it will be nice and fresh before the wedding
